The municipality of Steinfort, together with the Entente des Sociétés, invites you to the Eve of Labour Day.

This event pays tribute to our municipality’s rich steel industry heritage and the workers’ dedication to improving working conditions.

Meeting point: 6.00pm at chalet Steinfort Adventure
(Rue de Schwarzenhof)

The procession, accompanied by the Stengeforter Musek, will make its way to the town hall for the placement of the 1st May wreath and the official speech by Mayor Sammy Wagner. It will then continue to the blast furnace sculpture, where a commemorative plaque will be unveiled in honor of our steelworkers.

The evening will continue at the Al Schmelz cultural center, where you can visit a photography exhibition dedicated to steal workers, provided by the Syndicat d’Initiative. 
The municipality will offer the vin d’honneur, and the Entente des Sociétés will handle the barbecue.

In case of rain, the gathering will take place directly at 7.00pm at the Al Schmelz cultural center.
