The exhibition highlights the historical links between Luxembourg and Portugal during the Second World War. The focus is on the town of Vilar Formoso, on the border with Spain, which became a gateway to freedom for many refugees. The exhibition analyses the situation through the eyes of Luxembourg's Jewish refugees and the Grand Ducal family, among others.
